Rockers

I was privy to a special concert the other night.

Complete with front row bed-seating and personal serenades!

There were several costume changes...by Brody....and sometimes even back into the same costume!

They used a lifted stage for part of the performance. Some parts of the show included singing, some guitar, some drums, and sometimes all three!

More fresh air

These pictures may have been taken before our super-nice Saturday, as the boys were still wearing jackets, and there is still a lot of snow outside, but either way, this was another time everybody was having a good time outdoors in the fresh air!!!

Dane found a cool rock.....can you see it? :)

Marby was jealous from the inside!

Brody, and his creative way of carrying everything he needs at once!

Now that I see all the snow in front of the shed....

where Brody found this puddle he loved.....

there is no way we had the gator out yet, so this would have been the week leading up to the one nice Saturday we've had so far!

Racing!

Brody, just hanging around.

:)

windy day

Too windy on Tuesday to play outside, so we played in the garage a little bit!

Sami came over between work and volleyball, and the boys looooooove some time with Sami!!!

Awwww :)

Finally....FINALLY....playing outside without snowpants!

The gator is back in business!!!

We got it out of the shed during last Saturday's nice weather and the battery was fully charged and ready for use! The boys were in heaven!

Brody isn't the best driver....yet.

Good thing Dane is so strong!

And willing to help his brother get un-stuck!!!

And give him driving lessons :)

Followed by taking over the driving responsibilities!

CHEESE!

Hauling rocks

Cleaning out the fire pit....such a necessary chore!

Dane did some batting from Dad's pitching, with Brody acting as catcher/ball retriever.

Marby was loving the fresh air coming in through the open windows!

Dino Dane

Dane got a cool coloring book for his birthday, and we finally tried it out!!!

The special marker changes the color for each object on the page so it's ok to go outside the lines, but he did a pretty good job of trying to stay inside them!

I'm pretty sure he had the entire book colored in less than 3 sittings! All 20-some pages!

Now he sits and pages through it and enjoys each page of dinosaurs, as if he created himself a book....

which he did!

Basement-end of April 2013

Basement pictures as of the end of April 2013....

....pre-start of carpet installation

And updates of the bathroom with the vanity and mirror installed!

The basement now has all carpet padding in place, along with tack strips in preparation for carpet! Can't wait for that to be complete so we can use our basement! :)

I'm looking forward to having a basement that I don't need to wear shoes in! It's been a long time!
