Las Vegas Boulevard

New York, New York

Excalibur

Eating at Cabo Wabo, facing the street! Best view ever!

Vegas Showgirls

Power Rangers?
(with the water show across the street!)

fight?

We made our way down to the MGM Grand Casino/Hotel on Saturday,
and just so happens it was insanely busy,
as in WAY busier than the rest of Vegas at the moment.

Tons of people were waiting in line in the lobby to get autographs and take pictures.

There was a UFC fight happening there that evening.
And apparently, that's kind of a big deal.

Evidently, these are some famous fighters that a lot of people wanted to meet.

And they caged their lion for the event that day, too!

donuts

I couldn't NOT take a picture of this......

Water show!

Yes, we did watch the water show from down in front, not just from the hotel room!

From the Cabo Wabo restaurant right across the street....

And for 2 hours on Sunday evening!
It plays every 15 minutes after 7 pm....totally worth standing there for 10 minutes and people-watching!

Stratosphere

Approaching the giant structure!
We had to take the monorail to the end, and still walk a little ways past the strip to get to the Stratosphere.
I was sure looking forward to the hype of it being all the way at the end by itself, and up so high!

We encountered this awesome sign for a lawyer's office, which looks to be, oh, about 45 years old!

These insane creatures actually rode this thing on the outer ring of the outdoor observation deck, it threw them back and forth, up and down, hanging out over nothing!!!

And then some crazy people would actually go on a ride up on the top point of the whole place!!!

And people who have absolutely lost their mind would go into this room, step out onto a platform and free fall jump, attached to a rope, from the 108th story! I could barely handle taking these pictures, let alone watching these maniacs perform these antics!

A windy day up on top of paradise. I was totally freaked out to be up there on the outer observation deck, in wind that seemed like it was straight from North Dakota.

So I stood along the building, zoomed my camera out as far as possible, and took a bunch of pictures!

Then went down one level to the much safer INNER observation deck.

As freaked out as I was almost that whole time, I'm sure glad we went to the top!
The view is awesome!
