Super Reed to the rescue!

Annual tradition of bringing Sami along with these crazy boys to the Christmas train! 

Reed hasn't missed a single one his entire life!!!

Santa was there....Reed was confused/concerned and Brody thought he was too tall.

The cold walk back up the hill to the car. Totally worth it!

The weather actually wasn't too bad. Not much wind, so that makes a huge difference. It was terrific, as always!

Brody has surgery Dec 2015

In an attempt to permanently fix Brody's hearing loss and restore his hearing in his right ear, we have been seeing an ENT doctor in Bismarck. He wanted to start the process by doing a double balloon sinuplasty on Brody to first fix his sinus area, connected to the eustachian tubes, which lead to his ears.

They gave him the mask they were going to use to put him under so he could check it out first for a while. Of course, he loved that.

Getting a wagon ride back to the OR

Very groggy and tired!

After some napping, he was ready to hit the road, and we were back to Minot before supper time.

He had a very easy/quick recovery, and was back to school 2 days later. 

He missed the day after surgery because we were not sure of how the drainage was going to be or how difficult the pain management was going to end up being. 

In retrospect, he could have just missed the day of surgery, but he got to bring some work home, so he had fun doing that instead on his second day off!

The doctor was happy with his surgery, healing, and recovery!
