October fun

Giant minion at the pumpkin patch...
Reed was busy playing life-sized checkers and couldn't make it over here for a picture.

Decisions, decisions....how do we make it out of this corn maze alive?!

Reed thinks this is a good seat.

Current favorite: bunny ears on anybody, all the time.

See?
the bunny ears....all the time.

More hockey

Brody in black 21 jersey, making his way around the rink during the chaos of his practices, where some kids are just learning to skate!
He doesn't fall down much anymore, but still needs some practice and strength.

Hockey

Dane, on the far side of the rink in dark green, working on his backwards skating, then taking it easy getting to the end of the rink.

Lots happening in October

Man School at Home Depot!

They each did a floor puzzle while the Tiny Destroyer was napping, and not in their way.

Painting pumpkins

Walking to the grocery store with a couple of crazies.

Reed!

Hulk, riding his SpiderMan bike.

Brody loves carrots! He eats them all the time and doesn't understand why he still needs to wear glasses, when Dane never wants them, but doesn't need glasses.....hmmm....

Western Day at school for the big boys.

Baby buns

Granny & Gramps got all the boys new shirts on their vacation to Michigan/Wisconsin/Minnesota.

Teeth update

Dane has lost his 6th tooth!
Here he is holding up his 5th, but since then, his other front tooth has come out, so yes, we are upon a Christmas season and all Dane wants is his 2 front teeth....
Or maybe mom just wants them so that he doesn't spit while speaking so much, or have food back to his ears because he can't bite anything without using the side of his mouth!

Either way, we have a doozy of a school picture this year with the the jack o'lantern grin!

Brody has yet to lose one and is becoming concerned through his first year of school. He spoke to a much older and wiser tooth veteran and was assured by Cousin Connor that he has plenty of time before he needs to worry.

And Reed is stuck at 4.
Just 4 teeth....remaining chubby, though, so still managing to eat enough, I guess!

Problems?

What is going on here?
I'm having trouble posting pictures to this blog, and haven't yet taken the time to dig into the problem. Hopefully I will get it figured out soon before these boys graduate from high school!

2015 Trip to SD: Hitting the road & Bear Country

At the end of July, we took a family vacation to South Dakota, hoping to see the stone faces, some bears & snakes, among other things!

Construction at the Dam on Lake Sakakawea

Spillway was completely dry and lots of construction going on there!

Some people finally gave it up further south into North Dakota and took a nap....

And someone had already taken their nap so he enjoyed the silence! :)

We drove through Bear Country

As we waited in line to get into Bear Country, on the radio came a song: "Dancing Bear"
...how appropriate!

Some of the pics of animals we saw...

Reed napped almost all the way through!

Reed's favorite thing to do at any and every animal....cough/yell at them. Good thing he woke up for walking around the animals at the end to do this!
