Dane got a fishing pole! The big kids at daycare get to bring fishing poles and walk down the street to the river and cast off a bridge. So far, Dane reports that one kid caught 'the ground', but that's it!

Dane had to bring his pretend cell phone outside and carry it around in his back pocket, just like Dad!

On our return trip from Rugby a couple of weeks ago, I snapped a few pictures of where the Mouse River goes under Highway 2.

 Coming from the east, heading towards the bridge area.

Below: Looking south on the same road area as mentioned above.

Dane!

Dane wanted me to take a few pictures of his selected subjects one day....

First, he tied his monkey to Mater and was making his monkey act as a tow rope....

Then he wanted a picture of the tower he built.....

he walked in to the shot as I was taking it, then asked to see it and was happy with the result.

Silly string

The boys got silly string from Santa and have been dying to use it outside!

 and finally the weather cooperated enough so they could!!!

Trip to Rugby

Having some flapjacks and scrambled eggs with Granny & Gramps!

 Waiting for a 4-wheeler ride....

Worth the wait!!! :)

Upon driving home, Dane discovered that Brody swiped a cell phone from Granny's house! He smuggled it out inside his pants or underwear somehow, as he didn't have any pockets!

Thankfully, it was a non-functioning phone.
