In March, we lined up a sleepover for Reed to have with his favorite Sami-girl, and took Dane & Brody to a Sioux hockey game!
We didn't tell them where we were going, we got in the car, turned on the newly-connected PlayStation and let them play some games from the back seat while we hit the road.
A few hours later, we stopped in Devils Lake for lunch and they thought we were still in Minot...video game zombies.
Then we drove to Grand Forks and checked into a hotel. They were happy enough with that surprise and thought that was going to be it!
Thanks to my nice-enough-to-share Aunt Barb & Uncle Steve, we had another surprise later in the evening for them! We had tickets to a Sioux hockey game!
Playing goalie at their super-huge Scheels store!
And a shooting game....yikes!
At our hotel room, they set up a library with the 95 books they brought along.
Enjoying how close the beds were to each other.
How relaxing.
At the arena!
Dane, especially, is a huge hockey lover so he was extremely excited!!!
Talkin hockey
A huge dinosaur across the arena!
Yay hockey!!!
Creepin on a post-game interview!
Next to our hotel room, we found the world's tiniest hotel room door... :) They desperately wanted to have a reason to go in there.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Nutella at breakfast!
Brody didn't take time to figure out which bottle was which and lotioned his hair in the shower.
So shiny!
