beanies

 Not a very good picture but they were both being pretty wild about new beanies and having just gotten mail from their 'girlfriends' Harley & Alexa!

 

They wanted to hang up the pictures their girlfriends sent, and this is where Dane chose to put his.

 

And Brody put his on his bed.

Dustin and I went to a couple of UND Hockey games over the weekend, and we brought them back some new beanies! So they were a little wild about not having seen us since Friday morning, combined with new beanies, mail, and pictures to hang in their room! Exciting day!

The boys spent the weekend with our friends Jenn & Nanch at their house near Velva.

Nanch gave Brody his shot on Saturday and it went great! Our daycare provider used to be a CNA so she gave Brody his shot on Friday while they were still at daycare. It all worked out so well, and we now know 2 more people who are comfortable with giving Brody his shot, doubling our total list!

Over the weekend, the boys got to see some horses, go sledding, jump across (and fall between) hay bales, play with new/different toys, and do some science experiments, among other things! I don't think they even had time to miss us!

We got to pick them up Sunday around lunch time to take them home for a nap.

I was able to make it to my volleyball game during nap time, then we went to the Blessum house for some snowmobiling action and supper!

With plans in our life, it's feast or famine! I'm sure we will now have a dry spell of nothing planned for a few weekends, which Dustin will appreciate since he wants to get our house fully functional soon, whether we keep living in it or try to sell it. 

Plus, the boys have oodles of new toys to still get acquainted with, ruin, break, steal from one another, etc, thanks to everybody's generosity with the Christmas and birthday presents.
