Dane turned 4 on January 20!
We had a party on Saturday morning, the 19th, for him at Planet Pizza. There were games to play, bouncy houses to jump in, pizza to eat, and presents to open!
Dane is 4!
We made a cake at home to bring and share at the party!
We made about 3 dozen little cake balls in green and hid them inside the white batter for a surprise when eating the cake! Dane was pretty excited about that when we were making it, but could have cared less, come party-time. Guess he was over it by then!
Everybody played some games in the arcade until the pizza was ready!
Andrea mastered the skee-ball, but could not seem to beat Sam in the Speed of Light game.....not photographed because they were too fast!
Some party-goers enjoying pizza!
Brody reeeeally wanted to play this game. Not sure if he is licking it here or not. :( Ew. Weird that they are always sick with runny noses.....
Lots and lots of tickets to put into the ticket-eater machine!
Between all the ones that were combined for Dane, there were over 2000 tickets!
After watching Connor, Brody decided he needed to climb up to the top of this bouncy-house and hide out in the little nook on the side!
Dane had gotten up on the other side, too, so Brody was more than determined to try it himself!
It was a little dark and I didn't get good pictures, but he fit up in that little hole pretty well and loved it! :)
Bring on the presents, says Dane!
Brody was enjoying seeing all the new and awesome stuff, too!
New bank from Granny & Gramps! Dane has a tiny one from when he was a wee little baby, and has been asking for a big one for a long time. Finally, finally.... now he has more room for all this money I guess he has! I told him to hold it up and say cheese, and this is what I got!
Dane got lots of awesome stuff:
Legos (new favorite!), some socks, books, a bank, couple of combines, new cars, new clothes (bigger and taller!), and some other good gifts! The next day on his actual birthday, he got to open some more great things!
With Christmas just over, now his birthday, Dane is going to think presents go on forever!
One of the resulting toys from the 'lots and lots' of tickets!
Dustin must have had one of these in his bedroom as a young lad, as he was pretty excited to bring it home, take it out of the plastic and put it up!
And, an airplane you can see a blurry outline of, that Dane got from some of the tickets, too! The boys also both got a green ball-popping gun, that have provided much entertainment since Saturday morning!
Cousints! (Dane's word for Sami & Connor)
